Parks provide a relaxing environment to unwind for the whole family. The rich green trees along with other amusements are a source of delight for everyone. One of the best places to visit in Dubai if you want your children to enjoy while you can relax by taking in the greens, is Zabeel Park.

The park is located between Al Karama and World Trade Center on Sheikh Zayed Road and spans over 47 hectares. It is undoubtedly a big park with more than 3,000 palm trees and more than 7,000 other trees of 14 different species, offering park-goers calm and shade.

Some of the amusements that the park features include:

Children’s Amusement Complex

If you’re going there with children, the dedicated amusement complex and education center ensures they are engaged in something or the other all the while. There is also a 3D cinema that runs interactive shows in the communication zone, alternative energy zone and techno zone.

You can also climb the Panoramic tower to view the surrounding area from a height of 147 feet. Another interesting amusement feature in the park is the Space maze that boasts advanced electronic technology with a maze structure that is unusual and holds everyone’s interest.

The park is so huge in size that there is no limit to the play areas kids can retreat to, to make the most of their day. Along with dedicated playgrounds and open spaces, the park offers boat rides on the lake, ice skating, children activity rooms, jogging tracks, amphitheatre, and large covered spaces for picnics and barbecue. You can enjoy boating with pedal, row, or motor boats.

There is also an exhibition gallery that you can stroll for recent works of arts on display if you’re an art enthusiast, and if not, spend some time in the mini golf activity area or the skateboard park. The park also features space to hold birthdays, weddings and other occasions in its mega bowl dedicated space.

For sports enthusiasts, the park houses dedicated and well designed sports courts and clubhouses where they can unwind.

The good thing about the park is that it is located close to residential area. However, that means you might find it crowded during the weekends when it is the retreat for families to come out, unwind and socialize. However, the well-structured and well maintained park is open for all at a very low per person entry fee and the best part about it is that you can hold any family function in its amphitheatre.
